The Lingo4Kids Philosophy
What teachers, parents and administrators know is that every school is different, every class is different and every student learns differently.
Lingo4Kids believes a thriving learning environment is a flexible learning environment, which promotes diversity and creativity and adapts to individual needs. Parents and teachers can choose and create lessons students can relate to, interact and have fun with, in order to become
fully engaged in the language.
Lingo4Kids.com's philosophy is upheld through:
- Active learning, in which students solve problems, answer questions, formulate questions of their own, discuss, explain, debate and brainstorm during class
- Cooperative learning, in which students work in teams on problems and projects under conditions that assure both positive interdependence and individual accountability
- Inductive teaching and learning, in which students are first presented with challenges such as questions or problems and learn the language materials in the context of addressing these challenges
Lingo4Kids is designed to support a multitude of academic styles and provides educators with powerful tools to succeed!
Each Lingo Lesson is based on Dr. Howard Gardner's
Multiple Intelligences theory.
By understanding that every learner has the capacity to express or emphasize one or several types of intelligences nobody is left out of the learning activities.
Our Virtual Classrooms and Multi‑media Resources
are designed to support any curriculum requirement.
Just as every student learns differently, we acknowledge that every teacher has a unique approach to teaching.
